Happy Mother’s Day to all moms everywhere
Hi everyone, Happy Mother’s Day includes all moms, grandma’s and anyone that has played a nurturing role in someone’s life, this can also include dads and granddads that has raised their children or grandchildren; aunts, uncles, neighbors, friends of the family, and foster parents. But whoever you are, you will always be special, and may God bless you – Jesus recognizes you.
I want to share a Scripture for the day, which was shared by Pastor Sonya Longstreet at church today;
Mark 10:46-52
Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging.And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called.Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
Pastor Sonya brough out that the blind man didn’t stop just because he was told to be quiet – he pressed in. Don’t forget what you’re believing God for, regardless of time, pressure, or distraction…
You have to stay with it, to see it!
As a Mother’s Day gift for yourself, start believing again the thing that you may have forgotten about and trust God to bring it to you.

A special note: I know the previous posts has been long. Having a blog is new to me and I am learning what I like and don’t like about them. I love being able to share the Word of God and connecting with people of like faith. What I don’t like is that most blogs are long. I have decided to not be long winded in my blogs. The first 3 are out there and I don’t want to change that. But going forward, I want to shorten them by half. I have read a few blogs by now and love them, but boy where they long (it could just be my attention span :), I’m believing that most people like long blogs – well, I have to be me. But one thing is for sure, long or short…. it has to be spirit lead. There is another thing I want to share about blogs; They have to be 300 words or more, which is very reasonable to me. I will try to keep them 300 to 500 words per post, give or take a little.
